Survey Technician | Methuen Construction Company, Inc.

Methuen Construction is seeking a Survey Technician to provide essential support to the Construction Operations department. This is a full-time, salaried-exempt position.

Your Role

• Construction planning and lay-out
• Produce digital as-builts for heavy civil and industrial construction projects
• Procure, maintain, and deploy In-house surveying resources including equipment and software
• Train peers in surveying technology, equipment, and best practices

Your Education and Experience

• 3-5 years of heavy construction survey experience
• Knowledge of how to use survey equipment
• Professional Land Surveyor registration (NH, MA, ME) – preferred but not required
• Experience with layout, as-builts, and scanning
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering technology, Civil Engineering, or related field

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Ability to lift a minimum of 10-25 lbs.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time
• Able to function in a standard office setting
